- I’ve worked as a Growth Designer in Silicon Valley on some of the hardest stuff imaginable and consistently outperformed expectations. For example handling all the marketing/app design on the Team SoundHound app between 80–220million users ( until we hired a marketing designer second year ) when the Instagram Engineering team during the same time grew to just 80mill. #trialbyfire 🔥
- As the first #Growth Designer hired at Lyft I optimized so many authentication, referral, coupon, loyalty, rider ordering, in-ride, driver, app navigation, design process, design tooling and other systems that we beat Uber to IPO and beat Wallstreet #earnings every quarter until the pandemic started. Not only did I come out of the experience with several design patents and a team Material Design Award but also managed to steer the company into becoming the largest #bikeshare provider outside China! 🚲⚡
- Unlike most designers I plowed my Silicon Valley earnings into my own bicycle marketplace app Sprocket being built by my international 10-contractor Retrographic team 🌏 Right now im helping save the world from #climatechange by making it easier to switch from cars to #masscycling! Building a world-class two-sided marketplace entirely bootstrapped is the hardest thing I have ever done — And yet rewarding to wake up every morning and see people post new bikes on Sprocket from Nigeria to the Cook Islands! ✨🚲 🤑
