Dear [Elected Representative],
Having lived through the trump coup attempts, I am deeply concerned with GOP attempts to change the rules of the election ONCE AGAIN. I urge you to strike down, attempts to change the rules so late into the election!
It is clear to me that trump is operating in bad faith as a Manchurian Candidate for the presidency. As somone with family in Ukraine, I am very well aware that the linchpin of the entire Russian military strategy is getting putin’s friend back into the White House. This is in fact why they have not given up and continue to strike at Ukraine daily despite catastrophic losses in the hopes of this one hail Mary.
Georgia: I was surprised to read that the way ballots are counted and the election certified has been changed to require hand counting (SB 202) as well as allow for an unlimited amount of voter challenges. This sounds like it will surely be utilized to blow well past the counting-certification deadline in order to claim the election as illegitimate.
Nebraska: GOP failed to change the state to a winner-take-all system in a clear ploy to cheat. I was glad to hear that they failed but it still left me shaken that they tried.
Voter Registration: GA, TX, OH, WI, FL, AZ, and IA, have enacted laws that make it easier to deregister voters. This will lead to disenfranchisement of eligible voters.
I am also particularly disturbed with trump and Netanyahu’s collusion on prolonging the war with Palestine and starting a new one with Lebanon ( planned to run until the election is over ) which is a clear violation of his terms of release under the Logan Act!
We only have one country to lose, and its ours to lose if we let them. Please insure the election is following the law in a manner which is not being taken advantage of by trump. And utilize our insights from the many reports, investigations and hearings to protect the US Constitution under such extraordinary circumstances!
